K.V. Manendragarh came into existence in 1989 by the virtue of initiatives taken by the authorities of S.E.C Railway to meet the educational needs of the children of its employees. It was a humble start with four-five pucca rooms. Presently, it sprawls over 8.26 acres with mammoth buildings in a pentagonal shape. The school has not seen back since its inception and flourished strength to strength since then. The land area has been acquired on lease from S.E.C Railway for 99 years. The new school building came up in year 1992. The overwhelming response from the people of the area prompted the opening of secondary in 2001-02 and Senior Secondary 2004-05. Till then KV, Manendragarh is running with mission of KVS.
To initiate and promote experimentation and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National Concil of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) etc. and to develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of Indianness among children. |
